K-SMART Citizen Registration
K-SMART is a digital platform that provides various online services of Local Self-Government Institutions in Kerala. Citizens can create an account and access the services available through the portal.
K-SMART Portal
Visit the official website to create a new Citizen Account and access online services.
📋 Requirements for Registration
Mobile Number
An active mobile number capable of receiving OTPs.
Identity Document
An identity document accepted by the portal for KYC.
OTP Verification
OTP verification for the mobile number or email, as applicable.
Internet Access
A mobile phone, tablet or computer with internet access.
📝 Steps to Create a Citizen Account
Open the K-SMART Portal
Open the official K-SMART website in your web browser.
Select Register
Select the Register option on the portal and proceed to Citizen Registration, if displayed.
Choose India or Abroad
Select India if you reside in India, or Abroad if you reside outside India, according to the options provided.
Verify Your Mobile Number
Enter your mobile number, request an OTP, and enter the OTP received to verify your number.
Start KYC
After mobile verification, select Start KYC. Read the declaration, accept it if applicable, and proceed.
Complete KYC Verification
Follow the instructions on the portal to complete KYC using Aadhaar or another permitted identity document. Complete any required OTP verification.
Review Your Details
Check the personal details displayed after KYC. If the information is correct, follow the Continue or Proceed instructions shown on the portal.
Complete Registration
Complete the remaining instructions displayed by the portal to create your Citizen Account. You can then sign in and access the services available to citizens.
✈️ For Citizens Residing Abroad
Select Abroad and enter the email address requested by the portal. Verify it using the OTP received. Then follow the KYC instructions and submit the required documents, such as a passport, where applicable.
