Edappally Block Panchayat
Edappally Block Panchayat is one of the important local self-government institutions in Ernakulam District. As part of the Panchayati Raj system, the Block Panchayat coordinates various development activities and provides leadership for the overall development of the area.
Over the years, the Block Panchayat has been implementing various development programmes in areas such as agricultural development, rural infrastructure, drinking water, healthcare, education, social welfare, women and child development and poverty alleviation.
Edappally Block Panchayat gives importance to people's participation, decentralised planning and transparent administration while working towards the social and economic progress of the region.
